BORN is a hip hop project based on self growth through M-Lito's eyes. The album follows him on a path to find happiness and self-worth. The album opens with the track titled Ready To Fly featuring Tanja, in which M-Lito explains the overall meaning and concept behind the title, "BORN". Throughout his verses on the track, he outlined what he believes is the true value each person possesses while explaining that we were all made equally great and capable of doing great things. While his birth place (the Cayman Islands) is what would be considered paradise and which he invites visitors to visit on the track titled 'Place You Never Been", he also describes the challenges he faced growing up on the track titled "Look into My Eyes". M-Lito is on a mission to find happiness and self-worth but he must do some soul-searching, face his fears and regrets, and stand tall no matter what, through adversity. M-Lito reverts to his island twang on songs like "Just Cool" and "Everything" to end on a positive note as the project comes to a close.
